Old school atmosphere, you know what I am talking about, back in the day of the chain pizza places, like shakeys. The pizza is pretty good, go with the South Pacific, Canadian Bacon and shrimp for the win! They also have a old school ghetto arcade room, just like how you remember it. And a juke box. Lots of fun after a day of lounging around the beach!

If you're in Ocean Shores and you like pizza or sandwiches or garlic bread, you have to stop by. Seriously - this place is delicious! I always get the salad and it's great, too. If you stop by during the lunch or dinner rush, you might have a little wait - it's an understandably popular place. Do stop by, though - yum!

This totally casual pizza joint serves your basic pizza and pasta. The food satisfies but is not extraordinary. Keeping in mind that this is Ocean Shores, Dugan's is likely the best place for pizza in town. In addition to food, they have an arcade room for distraction. 2 stars = Food is average, prices are average, interior is below average but clean, parking is adequate. With real competition, this restaurant wouldn't last long.

Dugan's has an appeal and a tiny unique flair. Their pizza is better than fast food/chain restaurants. They have a 26" pizza that will easily feed 8-10 adults with normal appetites. For dinner with my boyfriend's family, we ordered such pizza and were impressed that even in the middle, the bottom was crispy and the crust was soft. Despite our toppings, our pizza was not greasy. The place is expensive but average for this touristy town. We were disappointed that there weren't free refills on soda. Expect to spend around 10-15 per person.

What can I say about Dugan's Pizza? My hubby LOVES this place, it is a sentimental fave for him, so I have been here several times when we visit Ocean Shores. Unfortunately, I can not say the same. It seems like every time we visit, there is something that goes a little wrong. Once I ordered a salad, and it tasted like it was dressed with soap instead of salad dressing. Another time we came and I ordered a diet soda. They were out. I asked for water. They were out of that too. Whaaa?? But this last time takes the cake. We were there on a motorcycle weekend, and it was understandably busy. The host said we could be seated right away, but it would be about 40 minutes to get food. We thought, well - ok. So we sat down. It was 15 min or more before we were waited on. Another 30 before the salad came (I don't order that anymore, just hubby.) After over an hour of waiting, we flagged down the waitress to find out how much longer before our order would be up. She said - "8 minutes." We thought... okayyyy. 30 minutes later, our food finally arrived. Now as I said, we knew it was busy due to the town activities, and could set aside the poor service and long wait. But then we tasted the pizza. It was simply awful. The crust was soggy in the middle, and chewy around the edge with no flavor. This is the last chance for Dugans, unfortunately. I will not be back.

Ouch, I'm still pained by spending my money here!! The worst pizza I have ever had! Frozen crust with canned sauce......no flavor, and undercooked to top things off! Save your $$ and buy a frozen pizza at the local IGA!! The place has zero atmosphere, and the staff was equally unimpressize. They obviously wanted to be somewhere else, as I did!

My parents used to own a house out here so my memories of Dugan's Pizza were mostly of my brother and I riding out bikes down to play the arcade games. This last weekend I was out there camping with a friend and there was a burn ban in effect. We weren't able to have a fire so we needed alternatives to eat. Well we stopped into Dugan's and that smell hit me and took me back! It was a long wait, but that just shows how popular it is! We wandered some shops nearby and then picked up the pizza. The pizza was AMAZING. It was by far the best I've had in a long time. The red sauce was a little spicy and didn't overwhelm the pizza. I'm not sure what cheese blend they use, but it was incredible and gooey. The garlic was roasted perfectly and the rest of the toppings fit together really well. We were both really impressed. Glad to see it's still there after all these years and that my memory served me well! Bree

Sorry, but Dugan's is nothing special. I always look forward to Dugan's. but this time i discovered that the pizza crust is hard, has flour on the bottom, topping quality is ok, sauce is thin and taste is sub-par. Honestly, i can make better pizza at home. I won't get their pizza again. Cone on Dugan's....step up your game. Your not the only pizza place in town. And the wings are ugh! Soft and not appetizing. Crisp them up a bit. They're not supposed to be soft. Will never get the wings again.

Pizza in Ocean Shores is iffy at best. We tried several pizza parlors and the pizza remains uniformly forgettable. We thought things might be better at Dugan's but no such luck. To start with there is Dugan's Crust. It looks and tastes like cardboard and to make matters worse it is thick The meat topping was O K but the cheese had the consistency of Velveeta. The sauce was bland to the nth degree. We have tried two of the pizza places in town and Papa Murphy's is looking better each time. The only reason I gave it two stars was that the salad was very good and it was ready for pickup at the time promised.

Not a fan of they're pizza. I'd give it a c+ The pasta and salads are delicious. I have had the spicy spaghetti and the lasagna. Both very good. The salads are made with good ingredients like leaf lettuce and ripe tomatoes. So good.

My family and I were in Ocean Shores for a quick visit before we move away from WA. So this review is based off of this one time tourist visit. I came here with my husband and my two little girls. No one was in the place! Cool. We decided to dine in. But they also have take out and delivery. We ordered a pizza and a couple of sodas from the lady who came to our table and asked what we would like. She later brought some plates, eating utensils, 3 napkins and our drinks. My daughter spilled one of the sodas. The 3 napkins that were given to us could not clean up the mess. Had to ask for more napkins. Used those to clean up the rest of the soda mess and didn't have any for the remainder of the meal... Our sausage and pepperoni pizza was very delicious! We were not asked if we would like a refill. I give the pizza 4 stars. As a mom with young children, having to ask for napkins over n over irks me. Kids spill things, have greasy fingers etc etc.. Napkins should be out there on the tables.

If you want to sit and starve for 45 minutes this is the place to come....So not happy that I have been waiting 45 minutes to have to wait another 15 now for my 12' pizza...absolutely horrible for time...it better taste delicious....

Always a must eat at place when we visit the ocean! Very accommodating to our special needs!

  • Brynn L.

We brought a party of 9 here while we were on vacation. The pizza was very good! The garlic bread had much to be desired, so I wouldn't order that for the price. For all of us to eat it was $120 and we had leftovers.

Best place I've been to at oceanshores. Not sure why the rating is so low but everywhere else had pretty terrible food.

Great pizza, a jukebox and beers on tap. What else do you need?? We visit here every year and have never been disappointed.

  • Ally C.

The place was filthy when our group of 7 walked in. We must have just missed the lunch rush but tables sat dirty & full of plates the whole time we were there. I've been spoiled by delicious pizza living in the Midwest. Ocean Shores shouldn't attempt to make pizza.

    (2)
  • Gayle H.

Pizza was ok. The wings were horrible, Fatty and under cooked!! Yuk!! Fed them to the Seagulls. Delivery driver to the hotel, nice guy just doing his job. . Placing the order with Tony (I guess he is a manager) RUDE!! Asked questions and he flat out cut me off and talked so fast. He seemed annoyed and didn't have time for a little customer service. The owner needs to know about this!! Never again.

Nice to find a place in ocean shores that does break the bank. Staff were nice and it was busy, but didn't have to wait too long. Pizza was good, not the best ever. Good amounts on the toppings. We'd come back.

  • Sai F.

Worst pizza I have had and I'm a pizza eaten fool. I'll eat most pizzas. Little Cesar's puts this place to shame. Their prices are just as bad. I would not recommend this place. Your better off with frozen pizza from the store. Even the microwave pizza is better. Yup it's that bad.

  • Chris K.

I don't know why I keep coming back. Every time I go to Ocean Shores I order from Dugan's, and it seems to be getting worse. The sauce on the pizza tastes like premium pasta sauce from the super market, definitely not homemade. The dough is pretty bland and way too thick. I order pepperoni typically, but this time my pizza had mini pepperonis on it. Almost positive it was the ones made by "Hormel" at the supermarket. Not worth $20. I haven't tried Red Genie yet, but will consider it next time. This is definitely the last straw with Dugan's. The employees are friendly, but I won't be coming back.

  • Joe W.

Best pizza I ever had! I ordered the meat lovers and special chicken split. Excellent pepperoni and spicy sausage. Lots of meat. We will definitely be coming back!

Staff was very friendly and they had delicious pizza, loved the crust! And there garlic bread is to die for!

Ok we ordered from here twice while on vacation. I was skeptical from all the iffy reviews but it was good ! The hot wings are decent ! (bubbles voice) Our orders came hot and in a timely manner . The crust was crispy and the topping were gooey good ! I would order from here again.

  • Travis S.

If your hotel restaurant is out of half the menu (as was our case), and every other restaurant in town is closed (as was our case), this might pass as food. Honestly go to the gas station and pick up some Hot Pockets. Virtually the same quality and $3 instead of $20. Sauce was ok, toppings were low grade supermarket fare, crust was to dense, chewy, and exceptionally bland. Think school cafeteria pizza and so over priced as to be nearly criminal. Most annoying of all? They're open until 10pm but apparently delivery only goes until 9pm, carry out only for the last hour of business which is not noted on their mobile website (nor is a menu). It was 9:15pm when we ordered :-/

    (2)
  • J J.

First of all, we tried to check out the menu online but it was unreadable. Tried on a phone, tablet and laptop and could barely make out "$27 for a 16inch"? Really? It should be perfect for that price. We decide to walk from the hotel. Well once the teenage and 20-something crew decides to take your order, you get the service of teenagers (who could care less about your experience), and the pizza soggy, limp, chewy and very not worth the price. The toppings tasted frozen at one point and what bothers me is that for that price, absolutely everything should be fresh and the service should be at least average. Will never be back.

  • Alyssa J.

This pizza was expensive, but worth it for the fresh products, tons of weighed out toppings, soft crust and delicious taste. Great people too, very funny. It was a walk from our hotel and they were open at 9pm on a Sunday so it was great. The next morning, the garlic bread was still soft. And the pizza was awesome to reheat too. So I recommend this place for pizza lovers :)

    (5)
  • Julia W.

Food was excellent. I ordered a pizza sandwich. When I heated half of it up the following morning it tasted as good as like it was just delivered. Delivery time was excellent. 15-20 minutes sooner then the promised time. I would definitely order from this place again.

My husband and I visit Ocean Shores every year . This is something we get every year. The best pizza I have ever had. Always fresh . Wish there was one in the Tacoma area.

Good pizza and service but was kinda surprised to have gratuity added for our party of 8 at a pizza place. Oh well, food was above median and we left with full bellies.

The best thing about Dugan's Pizza? It's the only place in Ocean Shores that delivers every night (that I know of), so if you're not up to cooking or going out, you're covered. The other good thing is that they're not skimpy with the toppings on their pizza and when you ask for extra cheese, you get it! The cons: they don't use much sauce on their pizza and despite the crust being fairly thin and not having much sauce, the pizza is still doughy. Some people like their pizza this way, but I am not one of them. Another con is the cost, but I'm afraid that is one of the downsides to living out here in a tourist town on the beach: most places are more expensive here than they would be in the Puget Sound area and it's just a fact of life. To sum up: there is better pizza to be had in Ocean Shores, but Dugan's is the only place that will deliver it during the week and not just Friday and Saturday nights. This alone gets them an extra star.

My husband and I took a day trip to Ocean Shores from Tacoma and on our way home decided to try out Dugans for dinner, since my husband was craving pizza. We ordered a 12 inch pepperoni pizza and an order of hot wings. The hot wings were Delish, no complaints there. However, the pizza....wow what a huge disappointment. It tasted like a frozen Digiorno pizza. I think they need to work on a new pizza dough recipe. The pepperonis were the tiniest ones we've ever seen. We didn't even finish half of the pizza, but didn't want to be rude and asked for a box to go. Needless to say we threw the pizza in the garbage when we got home.

  • Matt A.

We ordered Dugan's because they're the only place that delivers pizza in Ocean Shores. That's the best part about them. The delivery got there quickly and the guy was very sweet. BUT, even if you don't have a car, or bike, or if you have broken legs and need crutches, or if you have to hire someone to carry you, you should make the 5 mile walk to Red Genie Pizza. We ate there the next day and it was sooooo delicious. Dugan's pizza was tasteless. I didn't know it was possible to screw up pizza this badly. There was no taste in the hard cardboard crust. The sauce came from a 64oz can of cheap tomato sauce. The toppings were bland and minimal. It cost 25 dollars for one large pizza with three toppings to deliver. MAKE THE TRIP TO THE GENIE'S!!!!!!

  • Lindsey H.

Just moved to the area and was craving pizza. In a pinch the pizza is pretty good, the Caesar salad was awesome in my opinion as well. The only reason I didn't give it 4 stars is the customer service is a bit lacking. Would it stop me from going back? Probably not. All in all for the price, the quality was good!!

    (3)
  • Jill H.

Crust was like floury cardboard, sauce and toppings nothing special, you have to pay for refills on drinks and getting outdated, used to go here as a kid and it was a fun pizza place, now too small

    (2)
  • Karen D.

Friendly, attentive wait staff. The pizza was soooo goodM tasted like homemade dough and sauce. Hubby had the chef salad. Nice and big with lots of veggies, meat and cheese. Garlic bread was yummy. I'm picky about pizza. It's hard finding a good pizza joint, but this one fits the bill.

    (5)
  • Ty Y.

One star because they have a little arcade. Other than that pizza is generic tasting and service is sub par. Cleanliness is not a priority here it seems. Go to red genie and get some real pizza.

The garlic bread was amazing. Great service and food! Family friendly and they even deliver. This will definitely be a spot worth revisiting

This is the one place we always have to go to when we're in Ocean Shores. Lots of toppings, hot, tasty pizza. Great crust and excellent sauce. It is the same great pizza every time.

  • Lauren B.

Nice family pizza place. Generous, chunky toppings with a nicely balanced sauce. Crust is crispy golden brown. Staff is pleasant enough; came back a few times after we got the pizza to see how we are doing. We would definitely come here again.

Tried this place yesterday during our trip to ocean shores. Neat place and it's been around for a lonnnng time, kind of a local favorite. Got the Dugan Special and it was pretty good. The only thing about it we didn't like was the crust, pretty dense and heavy reminiscent of a scratch made camp biscuit, but overall a very good meal!

  • Orange B.

This place makes good pizza, there is no doubt. Freshly made pies with ample toppings. We did not quite understand, however, the rationale behind the no-refill policy regarding fountain drinks. Doesn't it cost mere pennies to dispense a 16-oz cup of soda? Weird.

  • Chris R.

1st star for pizza and 2nd star for the only pizza to be easily found in this summer tourist town! No star for service, taste or decor. With that said, my 2 young kids view this pizza joint as a an annual "family summer tradition"! We always have a long wait for the waitress and then for the food. Order a pitcher of pop for the kids and a pitcher of beer for yourself for a proper attitude adjustment. Hey, it's pizza, how bad can it be?

    (2)
  • Elle M.

I liked the pizza. But the 11 other people in my party did not. Service was beyond slow and for a holiday weekend they should have planned for more wait staff.

  • Mary B.

The Good: Simple, delicious pizza. No bells and whistles, just good pizza. Topping Options: All my favorites were there and the Salami, in particular, was delicious. Video Games and Pinball Machine! Wahoo! Alright, so, I'm all grown up, but I still appreciate an old school pizza parlor game room. The Bad: No Free Refills. This is a pet peeve for me when restaurants have fountain soda, but charge extra for refills. I had coffee instead (which did include free refills). The coffee really wasn't very good. It seems to be a trend in Ocean Shores. I had mediocre coffee at almost every stop. I'm really not a coffee snob, maybe it's the water there, but the coffee really was pretty awful. However, how many people go to a pizza parlor and order coffee? Room for Improvement: It would be nice to see a few sauce options. Pesto, perhaps? Conclusion: I like it. Dugan's isn't perfect, but the pizza is delicious and one of the best options in Ocean Shores.

I don't know why everyone is getting so bent out of shape about this place. What do you expect? It's a pizza joint in Ocean Shores, a place that isn't exactly known for having amazing restaurants like you'd have in, say, Seattle or Portland. The pizza at Dugan's is pretty tasty overall, similar to something you'd get at, say, Milano's or Amante Pizza. Nothing too fancy, but good pizza. I've never been dissatisfied with their food, but I have been a little put off by their service at times. And I do wish that they could deliver a little faster, but I understand that it's tough to deliver pizza in a super-timely fashion since it's a small town and I'm sure they only have one driver. (I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt.) Here's a breakdown of my rating: - Pizza: Solid. I do love that they have a variety of options and the crust is always deliciously chewy. The sauce is also tasty. - Salad: I love basic salads, so I really like their salads. Nothing fancy, but fresh. - Service: Decent. Could be much better, especially with all of the negative reviews on here. I think if their service was better (smiles when you walk in, attentive service while dining in the restaurant, etc.) people would overlook the other stuff. - Ambiance: Could be improved. Even if they were to make a few small changes to the decor, it would make a huge difference. If I could give them 3.5 stars, I would.

$28 for a lg pizza, worth half that. If you're looking for a good value, don't go to Dugan's!! I made the mistake of ordering by phone and not asking how much it would be. (Of course this info was not volunteered). This would qualify as the most expensive pizza I've ever paid for and certainly far from the best I've ever had. Do you ever get the feeling that when you are spending time in a tourist town, you are expected to repeatedly just bend over and take it!

Ordered the California vegetarian pizza. Unusual! had artichokes on it. Wasn't bad! Update: Went again in Feb 2015. Ordered the Vegetarian Combo on "take out." They menu did not show "sizes" only prices, and two different prices. Vegetarian was pretty good. It's cheaper than the California veggie one I had previously. They were very generous with the tomatoes and other ingredients on there, didn't scrimp. The day I went, turns out they were very busy as every booth was full. I was told "20 minutes" and it took FORTY minutes. Oh well, they were busy. Prices were a little high. I ordered the $17 size, which was the "smaller" size but it wasn't small. Now, for stuff that isn't the restaurant's fault: There were people in there with screaming crying kids. Glad I was waiting for take out, it would have been annoying to have to sit there and listen to screaming crying kids..

Dugan's Pizza was right across the street from where me and my girlfriend were staying. Was very convenient because we could just walk about 50 feet and we were there. The pizza here was an easy 5 out of 5 stars. Was very delicious and I will be definitely going back. I believe this is the best pizza I have had in a great while... The only reason I give this a 4 and not a 5 star is because the service. Yes, it was slow, they were busy with take out and dine in orders. The waitress was extremely nice but didn't seem to frequent enough. We knew refills weren't free which is no big deal. But the pizza was very high quality for such a long wait. Be ready to sit for about 30-45 minutes. But like I said the good quality is amazing!!!!

Been eating pizza here for years. Yes the decor isn't the greatest but I've never had a bad pizza and over the last 15 years or so I've had a few. Almost everytime I'm in town I stop by.

Heading out of are room to grab some food after a some what long drive. heading out we ran into the Pizza Dude.Joking I said is that for me?? He informed us that the person who ordered the Pizza was not answering the door. He said we could take it off his hands. Perfect kinds of pizza also. a plus it came with some soda's.Down fall I thought he could of taken off a few bucks cause the pizza would of went to waste. But I was happy with my meal and We will order from them on our next trip.

We have been up sick all night, we includes the dog. We let the dog have a bite of the crust. We did not heed the warnings from other reviews. Seriously do not eat here. We had a medium pizza with pepperoni and pineapple. We drove all day and didn't want to venture out again for food. Dugan's is across the street from the hotel and it seemed easy. How bad could it be. Well let me tell you -- it is real bad.

Stopped by this place and was very happy with the pizza. We did takeout, so I cannot speak for the refills, salads etc....But the women who rang up my order was nice and the she had a cute little girl helping her ring up the order...it is always a plus to see a family run restaurant! We order a half Veggie Pizza and a half custom pizza and it was delicious! The crust is not too thick, but a good medium. The roasted garlic was a nice surprise and the sauce was flavorful without being overwhelming. The toppings were loaded on and it was very filling! I would like to note that we ate there on 12/30 and had no after effects...in contrast to the recently posted review. We will diffidently be back!

I cannot believe this place is so poorly rated. Hrrm. There were lots of kids when we arrived, so I expected noisy. It was noisy; ironically not because of the kids, but there was music from the juke box after the kids left. Hip-hop or something, which was unusual and I guess some people like that, but in the end it actually served very good in drowning out conversation, so I enjoyed the eating experience more than I would have without it. The waitstaff was extremely nice to us, we were helped from the first, served promptly, and the garlic bread is perfectly good; it's bread, a bit dry but otherwise fine. They had coffee, and a refill was supplied promptly. That is really rare for any kind of pizza arcade joint, and since I don't drink pop my caffeine addiction is rarely satisfied at one. Not the case here. The place is busy, well liked by locals, only real complaint was the lack of sweetener for the coffee, just sugar. Anyway, the pizza itself was excellent, the chicken was clearly real, not the sort of pressed fake meat often used at cheaper pizza places, and the vegetables were also fresh and of good quality. A bit of sprinkled red pepper gave the pizza a perfect taste and the crust wasn't burnt or crispy, so it came together very well. The price was reasonable, and we left happy and refreshed for the drive back home after coming down from the north end of the peninsula at the end of a short weekend trip. I have no complaints and can only recommend it, unless you're looking for a quiet dining experience with no kids around, but arcade pizza joints are not normally sought out for those anyway.

This is by far the worst overall restraunt experience I have every had. me and my boyfriend came to ocean shores to go camping with some friends and after a long afternoon of activities we decided pizza would be the best place to go. Quick to the point: understaffed, not friendly nor sympathetic that you must wait forever, seriously forever for any service. That's including even being seated, and our drinks. Then finally being seated and serrved our drinks and at least a half hour they messed up our order by forgetting we ordered two pies and had to wait another twenty mins for the other one. To top it off the pizza wasn't even worth waiting for. I was very disappointed that I waited for something that had a swimming pool of grease in the middle and had burnt crust. I rather of got some fast food from mcdonalds and would of been throughly satisified with the service and food. This pizza joint is not worth waiting for at all. Oh but wait. If u do take ur chances and go there, the garlic bread was pretty good. Buuuuut, that might of been because we waited forever to get it and we were just that hungry.

    (1)
  • Brittany S.

I don't doubt the food is good here, however I wouldn't know. We were seated promptly, but then continued to sit for 30 minutes without the waitress even once coming over to at least get us drinks. That is just completely unacceptable, even on a busy night. 30 minutes without water? Ridiculous. She even said at one point, 'Hey be with you in a minute.' We got up and walked out 15 minutes later. TERRIBLE SERVICE.

Had Duran's delivered to our hotel room. First we couldn't find a menu anywhere, looked online but was not successful finding a website. Was told their "pineapple" pizza was the best, so we went with aloha that was.suggested when we called asking for the "pineapple" pizza. They said it would be there within the hour. By 7 we hadn't heard anything, so my husband called. They apologized for the delay but said they were running late and they forgot to get his number. (They knew what hotel and room number we were in though ....) Anyways, pizza got to us about 7:20. Delivery driver did apologize for the delay again. No discount offered, but oh well. Pizza was hot when it showed. Was just okay. Crust was not my favorite. They also didn't have paper plates they could send along with the pizza and pizza was toppings heavy so a bit messy to eat with just a napkin but we made it work.

We were staying across the street and came in for take out. The atmosphere looked fun and the woman taking my order was nice enough (had to wait a WHILE for her to get off the phone - she was answering questions about pizza options but there were a ton of other people working there behind the counter and it seems like someone could have stepped in. The pizza was expensive (thought it was going to be gourmet) but it was burnt and tasted horrible! Won't be back.

The pizza at Dugan's was EXCELLENT! So fresy and so yum! Even tasted great the next day heated up. I will admit the facility (from the outside) looked a little sketchy bu as soon as I walked through the door the smell made me forget the weird run down look on the outside. I would rIf you are in the mood for pizza i'd definitely give this place a shot if I were you. two thumbs up for sure and more if I had them :)

We've gone to Dugan's pizza 2 years in a row. Our first visit was because we were hungry and tired of looking for a place. We really enjoyed their garlic bread and their pizza is quite tasty. Hubster and I like meat so we had their all meat pizza. We recently went with friends and they order the Super Combo. Both of us have small children and it was great that they had high chairs and the atmosphere was great for small kids. The service was friendly and my only complaint was that I asked for water but none came. No biggie...if I wanted it that bad, I'd ask for it again. CLEAN restrooms...after camping that weekend, it was really nice to have a clean toilet, hot water, soap and paper towels. They had an arcade room for those that are into that stuff. They had a kids menu, calzones, pizza (we did the 1/2 and 1/2) and our kids (13.75 months and 15.25 months) LOVED the bread and pizza...meaning...it's a winner. It's within a stone's throw from Shilo Inn so you could walk over the beach afterwards.

Pizza was bland, sauce was all but tasteless & crust was chewy & not crisp. The service was friendly and the garlic bread was okay. I'm giving them two stars because they had a sweet game room with some vintage pinball machines.

I used to like this place more. But I'm gradually being turned off by it. The last two times we went, we had to wait really long for our food even though they weren't busy. The food is always tasty and the employees are nice. The price is usually more than I want to pay though. Today it came to about 50 bucks for a pizza, a small cup/bowl of soup and a side salad.

Frozen pizza crust? If not it sure tasted like it...then covered with garlic salt?!? Toppings were good, sauce was thin and flavorless....No refills on soda. On the positive side the atmosphere was pleasant as was the staff.

We went here a while back hungry for some good pizza - as the sign's seemed to promise. Instead we got: * Over an hour wait * Lousy service (the staff acted offended by our presence) * Terrible pizza * Terrible price I mean seriously...who should have to pay $20 for a pile of bad pizza and poor service. This place is a joke and I don't understand why they were so busy.

Perhaps the worst pizza I have ever had. The crust was akin to sawdust and glue that had set too long in the sun. The meager toppings probably came from a can past its expiry date at some discount shopping center. Cheese, I think it was cheese. When it is overcooked like that it is hard to tell. They also made me wait forever. Go to the supermarket and get anything else. Don't waste your money here.

Long Wait. OK pizza. No refills on a 12 oz $2 galss of pop, are you kidding???

The pizza wasn't too bad. Our waitress was pretty much non existent. We waited about a half hour to get our beverages and about forty minutes after that to get the first pizza and the second one came about fifteen minutes after that.

When in Ocean Shores either visiting or a local, Dugan's is the spot for pizza. We have been visiting for years and always enjoy the pizza and pasta dishes. The pizzas are hand tossed and made fresh so expect a bit of a wait if it's busy. But hey your at the ocean...relax a little and enjoy.

My husband, 4 year old son, and I spent a "vacation" here in Ocean Shores during their off season. There isn't much options on pizza around Ocean Shores so this is the place to really go. As it goes in touristy cities the food is a little pricey but we did enjoy their bread sticks and the Dugan's Choice Pizza. The crust is a little bland, but my son did take advantage of eating it himself. They were efficient and fast - bread sticks were out within a few minutes and pizza within 10-12. I'm not too picky on atmosphere, but it was pleasant as it comes. My husband enjoyed watching their television along with the people working there since football was on. The one thing that they need to fix? No refills which is a big downer.

Sandwich wasn't so good. Really greasy. Didn't try the pizza. Nobody was there on a Friday night made it seem worse.

I loved the pizza!! We had the South Pacific and really enjoyed the crust. The service was friendly, and my 7 year old enjoyed the arcade in the restaurant. I was so surprised to find a pizza place like this right across the street from our hotel. We would definitely go there again.

My Husband and I were very disappointed with the pizza dough.....My pizza was burnt. They remade it but the dough was still so hard that it made a knock knock sound.....:-(

The Pizza is pretty darn good, I have been coming here for years. Its the people/owners/employees. They are like the Stepford wives or something. Its like they wont look at you directly, unless to sneer. Like we are SO privileged to sit in their establishment. Maybe they are just so young they dont understand the value of tourists. There is a game room with some older arcade games and a couple of pinball machines which is nice. Their larger section is ALWAYS closed, I have NEVER seen it open in the 10 years or so I have been going there.

GROSS! Were it possible to give them zero stars, we would. The McDonalds in the area would be a far superior choice to this restaurant. My husband has visited Ocean shores many times and wanted to share his experience with me this weekend. I LOVE ocean shores and overall the weekend was fabulous. Galway Bay Irish Pub was amazaing, and had we known Dugan's would be so aweful, we gladly would have eaten at Galway's again. Yummy! Food/environment/cleanliness/service FANTASTIC. DUGAN'S- Where do we began.....well let's see: It is very hard to make "bad pizza" usually even bad pizza is pretty ok. This pizza was gross and we literally did not eat any of it beyond the first slice- we were honestly concerened we would get sick. The components were tasteless, dismal, bizarre -we had one item which we could not identify-and consistency worse than a frozen pizza. The Dough and sauce would be more tasty from a 10 year old out of an Easy Bake Oven. The service ( which is clearly family owned) was weird at best. The "Mom" who was our server, coughed about 5 times right into her hands and never washed her hands after any occurance( which is why we did not eat much, if any , of the food) . At one point she scolded me for picking the copious amount of olives off of my salad and said to me " well why didn't you just order it without olives?" Umm..ok..it's my salad, cannot I not do with it what i like? The , what I would call "Son", literally watched "American Pickers" on the " Big Screen" ( just what you go to a pizza place for on a Sunday) FROM THE TIME WE ENTERED UNTIL WE WALKED OUT THE DOOR...never stopped...he only stopped to "make pizza" ( which presumably was ordered already) during commercials. Totally lazy and sloveny. No wonder others have complained that their orders took a long time. We were the only "in restaurant" customers during our entire visit. The service here, like most of Ocean shores is terrible, and the pizza is disgusting. The environment is gross, and I seriously question the cleanliness. The ONLY reason they are still in business is that they rely on unsuspecting tourists, and Hotel delivery reccommendations. What amuses my husband and myself , who both have retail backgrounds, is that repeat service is your most important commodity! People who visit the area are sure to return, and I would starve to death before ever returning to your establishment. You need to learn a quick business lesson: Value the opportunity for return customers and/or word of mouth. You would be more profitable and not be torturing others with your lazy work ethic...... Go ANYWHERE , but here.

I think the pizza here is decent... My grandpa would argue and say it's the "best pizza around". Their monster size pizza really is monster sized. We order from them frequently just because it's the closest pizza place to our house that delivers... I'd really rather have a frozen pizza from the store.
